Product Description
1,4-Butanediol (BDO) is a colorless, odorless, highly hygroscopic organic diol liquid with high boiling point and good miscibility performance. It shows excellent compatibility with water, alcohols, ketones and most organic solvents.
This material has mild irritation, stable chemical properties under normal temperature, and is a core fine chemical intermediate widely applied in polymer synthesis, cosmetic solvent, pharmaceutical auxiliary, plasticizer and daily chemical raw materials. It features low volatility, strong solubilizing capacity and good film-forming & moisturizing performance.

Main Applications
- Key monomer for producing PBT resin, THF, GBL, NMP, NVP, polyurethane resin (PU) and high-performance spandex elastic fiber
- Used as chain extender, crosslinking agent for polyurethane elastomer, foam leather, engineering plastics and adhesive
- High-efficiency moisturizing solvent and humectant in facial care lotion, essence, cream, mask and mild cleansing products; improves formula spreadability and relieves skin dryness
- Pharmaceutical intermediate, solvent for drug synthesis, excipient for liquid oral preparations
- Plasticizer, curing agent for coating and water-based resin system
- Raw material of pesticide & herbicide
- Solvent for printing ink, dye and fine chemical synthesis
- Antifreeze agent, humectant for textile auxiliary

Keep containers tightly sealed; store in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse with temperature controlled below 30℃. Isolate from strong oxidants, strong acids and alkalis. Avoid direct sunlight, damp ground and open flame. Prevent moisture absorption caused by poor sealing.
